Facilities
The school started with a Kindergarten at its own permanent site
donated by the Chiefs in Mim with a block of two class rooms, an
office and a store and an eight cubicle block place of convenience
fitted with water closets. With the Chairman's avowed aim of making
the school one of the best in the country, a lot of teaching and
learning aids are available. Outdoor recreational facilities are
also provided. These include trampolines donated to the school from
UK. Alexander Rose is the main UK sponsors via their customers,
all co-ordinated by Margaret Brennan Thanks to sponsorship the school
has a one in all multi-purpose sports facilities, which caters for
basketball, volley ball and tennis as well as football.
The school, which is now in its ninth year since it was commissioned
in 1997, has gradually been developed from a two-year kindergarten
stage to JSS One following the policy to allow organic growth of
one classroom per academic year. The total number of pupils on roll
at present is two hundred and ninety eight with teaching staff strength
of fourteen comprising a headmaster, nine other professional teachers
and four non-professionals.
Computer Laboratory
The school has a well-equipped computer laboratory - all donated
free of charge by the UK fund, through sponsorship. The laboratory
could be the envy of even well endowed second cycle institutions
in the country. Mr. Prince Bofah, a teacher of the school has been
put in charge of the computer laboratory.
Internet Facility
On Thursday, 18th May 2006, the school was hooked to the Internet
as it witnessed the installation of Internet facility at the school.
